Starting your university journey at ASU London is simple. This step-by-step guide explains how to apply, accept your offer, and complete your enrolment so you can secure your place with confidence. From submitting your application and receiving your offer to confirming your place and preparing for enrolment, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know.
Whether you’re a Home or international student, this guide will help you understand each stage of the admissions process and ensure a smooth transition from applicant to enrolled student.
Applying through UCAS?
This guide is designed for applicants submitting a direct application to ASU London. If you’re applying through UCAS, please refer to the ASU London profile on UCAS and follow their official application instructions.

Being a priority applicant means your application is reviewed earlier, giving you a better chance of securing your preferred programme and accommodation before places fill up. You’ll also have more time to process your visa, arrange finances and book your travel.
Applications later than June 30 may still be considered if places remain.
Top tip: Make sure you upload your educational documents so we can review your application without delay.

Top tip: For conditional offer holders – ensure you submit your requested docs as soon as you can to gain an unconditional offer.

Follow the instructions in your offer email from the Admissions team to accept your place either through your direct application or UCAS.
Timeline: May 13 is the offer acceptance deadline for Priority Applicants.

After accepting your offer, you’ll need to pay a tuition fee deposit to secure your place on the course. This also allows us to begin the process of issuing your CAS for your student visa.
The deposit amount and instructions will be in your offer letter, and deposit payments are made through Flywire.

To apply for a UK Student visa, you must receive a CAS from ASU London. Your CAS is an e-document, confirming that ASU London is willing to act as your sponsor for your visa.
Before issuing your CAS, we’ll request documents from you including but not limited to:

Depending on your country of residence, you may also be invited to a short virtual interview.
If successful, your CAS will then be issued.

Once your deposit has been paid and you’ve received your CAS, you can apply for your UK Student visa through UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

ASU London recommends you apply for your UK Student Visa by 31st July. You can still apply up until 31 August 2026, but this is not recommended to ensure enough processing time.

Welcome Week is your in-person introduction to life at ASU London. It’s mandatory to attend, so we recommend that you arrive in London and move into your accommodation the week before. It’s a great opportunity to meet your new classmates, prepare for your studies, and settle into university life.
You’ll also need to complete enrolment after you have arrived at ASU London and completed the online registration process. You’ll need to present original documents (photocopies are not acceptable) to show proof of ID and your qualifications. We’ll send you more information on this closer to the date.

Autumn term officially begins on 21 September and your UK university experience begins! You’ll attend your first classes, meet your lecturers, explore the campus and city of London, and kick start your academic experience.

Most students cover their fees using a loan from Student Finance England (or the equivalent body in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland). You’ll need to apply for a loan to cover your fees, and then provide us with your Student Finance Entitlement Letter which confirms how much will be paid. This loan will be directly paid to ASU London.
If you are not using student finance you can pay fees directly to ASU London. Once you confirm your offer, we’ll issue you with an invoice for payment.
