Scholarship

Recent Engineering UK data shows that only 16.5% of the engineering workforce is female. This scholarship is a positive action to encourage more participation from women onto our engineering course at undergraduate level.

If you have a student loan, scholarships can either go towards the cost of your tuition fees or maintenance costs. They are awarded following an application process.

Eligibility

To be considered you’ll need to be

– A woman (or to self-identify as female)

– Have a Home fee status

– Holding an offer for:

  • Global Design Engineering
  • Engineering with Artificial Intelligence
  • Engineering with Mechatronics Systems
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering

– In receipt of a student loan or self-funding your studies.

How to apply

No separate application is required to be in receipt of this scholarship.

The ASU London team will use application information and be in touch with those who are to be awarded the scholarship.

How much could I be awarded?

£1,500 per year of study

Deadlines to apply

There is no deadline to be considered for the scholarship and awards are made on a rolling basis.

Up to 10

Things to note

Students may be in receipt of more than one ASU London scholarship at any time during their studies.
