Global Design Engineering student
Studying at ASU London means immersing yourself in one of the most dynamic, diverse, and inspiring cities in the world. London blends history, creativity, and innovation, offering endless opportunities to explore, connect, and grow both personally and professionally.
As an ASU London student, you’ll join a vibrant international community surrounded by world-leading culture, business, and technology. From museums and markets to networking events and internships, every experience in London becomes part of your education.
Here, the city is your classroom, helping you build global connections, gain real-world insight, and shape your future in a place that’s truly at the center of it all.
From student societies and events to shared study areas and cafés, you’ll enjoy a welcoming environment that combines the energy of central London with a close-knit campus community.
In your third year, depending on your degree, you may have the opportunity to take your Individual Project abroad at one of our partner universities, Arizona State University (ASU) or the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Experience life on a new campus, immerse yourself in a different culture, and build a global network of peers.
If you prefer, you can complete your project in the UK, working closely with industry partners to gain practical, career-ready experience. Note: study abroad opportunities for international students are subject to visa requirements and travel restrictions.
Students who join ASU London have a unique opportunity to directly shape the student experience on campus and pave the way for future cohorts.
We welcome and encourage feedback and ideas all year round – whether it’s via a chat with the Student Hub team or your personal tutor, or through completing student satisfaction and module surveys. You can also become a student representative and share your peers’ views directly with staff members on the student experience committee and academic board.
Simply put, we care about our students and want to ensure you have the best possible experience. With smaller cohorts and high student to staff ratio, at ASU London you can be confident your voice will be heard.
Your studies will be intensive at ASU London, but there’s always time for fun outside of teaching sessions. As well as welcome week, you can expect seasonal student parties on campus and if there’s an event you’re passionate about running – whether it be a fundraiser, games session or film screening – or club you’d like to set up, you can coordinate directly with the Student Hub team.
The ASU London campus is currently located in Canada Water, London, only two stops from famous London Bridge and the likes of Surrey Docks, Greenwich, Borough Market, Canary Wharf and Shoreditch are within easy reach. We will be moving to a new campus in 2026. More details to be announced soon.
