Dr Parakram Pyakurel is an Associate Professor at ASU London with extensive international teaching and research experience in engineering education, sustainability, renewable energy systems, and energy policy.
He holds a PhD in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
His academic work spans engineering education, design engineering, and renewable energy systems, with a particular research focus on problem based learning and the application of generative AI in education. In addition to his academic roles, he is a trainer in process efficiency and lean thinking.
Parakram is particularly interested in designing inclusive, practice-led engineering education and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry to prepare graduates for complex real-world challenges.
