Michael Goodwin is Managing Director of ASU London, having joined in May 2026. He has extensive experience working with UK universities and internationally across a broad range of institutions, most recently serving as Group Chief Operating Officer at Cambridge Education Group (CEG).
Prior to CEG, he held senior leadership roles at QA Higher Education and the University of Law, building a strong track record in delivering growth, operational excellence and high-quality academic partnerships.
Michael has led large, multidisciplinary teams across both academic and operational functions, supporting learners to access a wide range of provision.
Michael’s leadership philosophy is centred on collaboration, accountability and delivering high-quality, student-focused outcomes. He is a strong advocate for partnership, innovation, widening opportunity and continuous improvement.
Michael holds a BA in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Westminster.
