As a Student Enrolment Advisor for ASU London, you will use your sales and customer service expertise to help grow the ASU London brand, achieve enrolment and revenue targets, and deliver an exceptional experience for every prospective student.  You will have counterparts all over the world, including from our founder and partner, Arizona State University, one of the world’s best universities and rated in the top 1%.

Role description

Reporting to the Manager, Student Enrolment and working closely with senior leaders, the Student Enrolment Advisor will be responsible for meeting conversion and enrolment targets while providing an outstanding standard of service through a consultative, student-focused approach.

You will engage with prospective students throughout the enquiry and application journey, mostly via phone and video calls, guiding them with professionalism, empathy and insight to ensure a seamless and positive experience from first contact to enrolment.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Student Recruitment:
    • Proactively engage with prospective students through various channels, including social media, phone calls, emails, events, and in-person meetings.
    • Provide personalized guidance and support to prospective students throughout the enrolment process, addressing their questions, concerns, and educational goals.
    • Provide excellent response times to potential student enquiries and continue to follow up to achieve targets
  1. Admissions Counselling:
    • Working with admissions and faculty staff, conduct admissions interviews and assessments as needed
    • Assist students in completing application materials, including essays, transcripts, and letters of recommendation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to admissions requirements.
    • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on course offerings, admission criteria, financial aid options, and scholarship opportunities.
  2. Application Processing:
    • Work with the admissions team to ensure the timely processing and review of student applications, verifying completeness and accuracy of submitted materials.
  1. Relationship Building:
    • If required, cultivate positive relationships with high school counsellors, community partners, and other stakeholders to promote ASU London and generate referrals.
    • Provide feedback to the marketing team to support the development of student recruitment campaigns
  1. CRM, Data, and Reporting:
    • Ensure the accuracy of data within the CRM and ensure the data capture of all potential students.
    • Aid with reporting as required by downloading data for analysis and reports and supporting the creation of the student enrolment dashboard

Experience and qualifications:

  • 4-8 years’ sales or customer service experience ideally in retail, hospitality, travel, IT, telecommunications, or other consumer-based, highly competitive industries
  • Digitally savvy – understanding digital channels, CRM systems with the ability to follow up enquiries from online enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and Live Chat
  • Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, student services, or related fields within higher education ideal but not necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations and build rapport with prospective students and families. You must be comfortable talking on the phone, presenting via online meetings, conducting face to face tours and selling ASU London at career events and conferences
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service and support to students throughout the enrolment process.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Demonstrated initiative, independence, and a collaborative mindset, with a strong
  • commitment to teamwork and achieving shared goals.
  • A good listener with the ability to understand diverse perspectives and facilitate constructive dialogue.
  • Proficiency in English required, proficiency in other languages a plus
  • Bachelor’s qualifications ideal

Salary:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications, this role offers a base salary of £35,000 – £39,000 per annum.
